Strawberry Banana Chia Parfait

This strawberry banana chia parfait is a very delicious and healthy breakfast that you can make the night before and enjoy in the morning. This is the basic recipe for a plain, vanilla flavored chia pudding spiced with strawberries and banana. You can use different berries to flavor your pudding, as well as apples or pears in the colder months. You can also switch out the bananas for another fruit or leave them out altogether and just have the strawberries.

Strawberry Banana Chia Parfait

Prep Time: 10 minutes




  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 banana


  1. Place the chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla, and milk in a tall mason jar and shake well to incorporate the chia throughout. Let the chia soak up the milk for 5-10 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In the meantime, mash the strawberries using your Indy Chef potato ricer and transfer to a small bowl. Mix in the honey and cinnamon.
  3. Top the chia pudding with the strawberry sauce. Slice the banana and add to the bowl and top with a couple of sliced strawberries and place in the fridge for 4-6 hours, or preferably overnight. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes:

Tip: You can top your chia parfait with crushed nuts or granola for some added crunch.
